Are Preserved roses real?

Preserved roses are real roses.  The roses are cut at their peak and stored with a plant-based preservation liquid that is 100 percent natural.  This preservation process allows the roses to maintain their beauty.

 
What makes Preserved Flowers so much more expensive than Fresh Flowers?

Flower preservation is a time-consuming and costly procedure that involves the application of high-grade, non-toxic, cosmetic-grade chemicals. Only the greatest grade flowers are used to ensure preserved flowers meet the stringent quality control criteria.

 

Which flowers are the best to preserve?

 The best flowers to preserve are below:

  • Roses
  • Gerberas
  • Chrysanthemums
  • Daisies
  • Carnations
  • Peruvian lilies
  • Billy buttons (Craspedia billy balls)
  • Cymbidium orchids.

 

How long do preserved flowers last?

If they are cared for correctly, our preserved roses can last for up to 3 years. The length of time our flowers last depends on the different methods used to display them.

 

How do you take care of preserved flowers?

For maximum shelf-life:

  • Do not water the preserved roses
  • Keep indoor and away from sunlight
  • Keep the arrangment in a cool, dry enviroment
  • Do not remove flower arrangment from box/dome
  • Keep the roses clean

Do preserved flowers smell?

No, preserved flowers don’t have the original scent due to the process of preservation.  

If you wish to add scent to your preserved roses, you can place a few droplets of essential oil at the bottom of the box, but NEVER on the roses. Do not spray perfume.

 
How are your Bouquets Packaged?

Blossomy flowers are carefully arranged by hand, wrapped tastefully, and tied with our signature ribbon. 

 

When will my order be dispatched?

Our order handling time is 1-3 working days. If you require urgent delivery, please choose express post or feel free to contact us for further assistance. All orders are sent out from Sydney, Australia. 

 
Will you disclose my name to the recipient?

If you have not entered  “sender’s name” on the gift message option form we will not print your name on the card.  If the recipient wish to know who sent it, we will contact you for permission to disclose. 

 

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

To deliver flowers on time, we run tight deadlines. It is not always possible to make changes or stop an order from going out. We require two or more days notice (before delivery) to change your order.

STANDARD DELIVERY 

We offer standard delivery fees of $7.90 flat rate. 

The following is the estimated delivery times:

  • New South Wales: 2-3 business days
  • Western Australia: 2-6 business days
  • Northern Territory: 4-8 business days
  • Other States: 3-4 business days

 

EXPRESS DELIVERY

Express shipping is available $17.90 Australia-wide.

  • New South Wales: 1-2 business days
  • Western Australia: 2-4business days
  • Northern Territory: 3-5 business days
  • Other States: 2-3 business days

 

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

All orders will be provided with a tracking number and confirmation the order has left BLOSSOMY via email.

Technical problems and telecommunication network coverage may affect tracking and notification service. We may provide your email or phone number to a third party to provide notification of tracking events to you as the addressee.

Please note that the cost of postage is non-refundable once shipped.

Please allow 24-48 hours for orders to be processed before they are dispatched. Please contact us to discuss your options if you need a rush delivery and your order is critical.

 

How do I track my order?

Upon ordering your flowers, you will receive a confirmation email. Once the flowers are made and are on route, you will also receive a follow-up email with an estimated delivery time and a link to the carrier web page for your parcel. Here, you can stay up-to-date on the status of your order.

We are unable to deliver parcels at specific times.

 

What happens if the recipient is not home for the delivery?

If no one is home, your parcel can be dropped off with the concierge. Otherwise, a calling card will be left at the delivery address for the recipient to contact the courier and re-arrange delivery.

 
Do you offer same-day delivery service?

Yes, if within NSW. Please contact us before placing an order. Additional fees will apply.

 
Do you deliver anywhere in Australia?

Yes, currently we only offer delivery within Australia. 

Do you deliver to business addresses?

Yes, our couriers will deliver to business addresses. However, please note that we’re not responsible for ensuring the exact recipient receives the delivery, as courier drivers may often deliver to receptions or lobbies. This also applies to hotels.

 
Do you deliver to Hotels/Hospitals?
HOTEL

Yes, we will deliver the flowers to the reception. But please check with the hotel before sending flowers as some hotels may not accept customer deliveries.  Please make sure they take on the responsibility to ensure the flowers are given to the recipient.

HOSPITALS

Yes, but please check with the hospital before sending flowers. Some hospitals do not accept deliveries of fresh flowers. We are unable to offer compensation if the hospital refuses delivery. Please make sure they also take on the responsibility to ensure the flowers are given to the recipient.

 
What is Personalised Video Message?

BLOSSOMY is Australia’s first florist to provide personal video messages, FREE of charge. We believe that sending flowers is all about making the right emotional effect. So instead of printed or handwritten cards, we offer video messaging, where the recipient can scan a unique QR code to watch a video message from you on their phone.

 

How do I record my video message?

Once you have your video and are ready to place the order, you can add a file attachment directly from your phone or computer at our checkout. You can also add a short message to be printed on the card. It’s that easy!

 

How will the recipient view my video?

The lucky recipient will receive a unique QR code that they can scan on their phone to view your video message.

 

Is it completely free of charge?

Yes, absolutely! Blossomy believe in making the world a better place by improving connections, one person at a time. As a result, the price you see for your flowers includes all of our services and the personalised video message, at no extra cost!
